Academic Advising and Student Success

As a national expert on developmental academic advising theory and practice, Susan Frost has addressed issues such as encouraging students to assume more responsibility for educational success, engaging faculty as partners in the advising process, and increasing the substantive nature of professional advisors’ roles.

She has consulted with a variety of private and public universities and colleges. These include Furman, Georgia Tech, UC Santa Cruz, Valencia Community College (a five-year Title III project), and Yale.
